Recipe Of The Week: White Fish with Macadamia Salsa


2 white fish fillets
¼ cup macadamias, halved
½ cup chopped tomatoes
1 avocado, peeled, seeded and diced
3tbs coriander, chopped
3tbs parsley, chopped
Olive oil

Instructions
Pre-heat grill to medium heat.
Place fish on grill and cook for 3-4minutes or until cooked.
To make the salsa, place macadamias, tomatoes, avocado, coriander and parsley in a mixing bowl, combine well. Add olive oil to coat.
Place fish and salsa on a plate to serve.

Goal Of The Week: Take time in the morning or afternoon to go outside for 15 minutes to a place with a view that is pleasing to you and just BE. Sit peacefully and focus on nothing but your breathing, deep belly breathes in through the nose, and long exhales out of the mouth through pursed lips. Notice your stress levels evaporate.

A survey conducted by Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota (Children's), a nationwide leader in integrative medical approaches concluded:
"Parents should be aware that integrative medicine can be helpful from the onset of disease and can save time, money and most importantly, improve a child's quality of life. This is true for all kinds of conditions including acute illnesses like cancer or chronic problems like migraines or behavioral issues."

This is what we teach daily at Transcendent Lifestyle Center. So called "alternative" medicine is not alternative at all. According to national studies, "alternative" medicine practitioners such as Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, Massage Therapists, Homeopaths, etc are now the first choice for out of pocket health care dollars by the majority of the U.S. population each year. This is due not only to the failure of the conventional model of medicine to provide health for the people, but also to the fact that these age-old, time-tested healing arts get results day in and day out and continue to thrive despite the many negative labels given them by the mainstream establishment.

How can Chiropractic save you time, money, and quality of life when dealing with acute illness and/or chronic disease? Simple, Chiropractic decreases stress levels by balancing brain to body communication. Chronic stress is the foundational cause of cancer, of heart disease, of diabetes, of all of the chronic diseases affecting our society. By seeing "alternative" practitioners who promote prevention and health BEFORE symptoms and disease occur adults, as well as children, can avoid sickness and disease altogether. Chiropractic and the other "alternative" practitioners take a Holistic (whole body/whole life) view of the individual, thereby accelerating their results by addressing issues that the specialized, tunnel visioned mainstream medical establishment never think to address, nor have time to.

If you need your life saved in a crisis, by all means, GO TO THE HOSPITAL and get the drugs and surgery you need to survive. Once you've survived and you're seeking to return to health, find yourself an "alternative" practitioner to teach and help you to harvest the true healing potential within you.
